NEW Web Site

As you may be aware, we are migrating to a new web-based management and website facility managed by Sailing Club Manager.  When complete it will give us some significant added function and usability.

  • Online membership management, renewals and payments
  • Online payment gateways for boat hire and other products
  • Boat hire process improvement with online booking and payment per session

A huge amount of work has been done by a small team and still ongoing. So firstly, a huge thank you to all involved. Over time more functionality will be included on the site and involving more volunteers.

Yes, the same information has been circulated in printed and emailed newsletters to ensure all members are contacted. We would like to stress the importance of all members taking action as clearly defined in the  “How to…. Introductory User Guide”

So, What Next?

The goal is to move to the new system for this renewal period.

The new club website will go live from the 14 to 17 September 2020 depending on your broadband provider and other settings on your device. This is the same web address as the old website, so you need to wait until the old one disappears and the new one is available. The new on looks like the picture in this article.

Action (when new website available):

  • The extensive “How to…. Introductory User Guide” available on this link takes you through the whole process of login and set up in detail and how to navigate your own portal page, your personal access point to the members part of the website.
  • On the first visit to members will need to go through the login process and setting up a password.
  • During this process you should receive an email inviting you to set your own password.  If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder. If you are still unsuccessful, please contact William Gardiner for help. You will need to do this if we have an out-of-date email for you.
  • It is extremely important that once logged into the new website you check and update your personal data through your portal page menu as soon as possible. This is to ensure all your membership data is complete and accurate.

Any further issues with the login process please contact William Gardiner

Old Website

The old website will be available after the new one goes live until 1 December 2020 at  This will go live after the 14 September 2020 depending on your browser as detailed above.

We ask that all members visit the old website and download any documents from the files or photos from the Gallery they would like to keep before the 1 December 2020 when they will disappear. The photos can be uploaded to the Gallery in the new website when it is enabled later.

In Summary

It is important you download the “How to…. Introductory User Guide” by clicking this link or from the attachment below and follow the guidance.

Please note the new website is being built on an ongoing basis.  Some sections may not be fully populated yet and some are going to be improved over time.  We ask for your patience as this is a huge body of work to complete.

We hope you enjoy the new website; your feedback would be appreciated.  It will hopefully be more user friendly and provide more features over time.
